2026 Austin Tech Hall of Fame and First Time Founder Awards

The 3rd annual "Austin Tech Hall of Fame" and "First Time Founder Award" reception will be held on May 19th. This is part of an "eight year launch" to be able to add to the Hall of Fame all of the people who have contributed to Austin over many decades.

The Hall of Fame is not just for entrepreneurs who founded companies that had success... but also the investors, advisors, mentors, and solution providers who allowed our tech scene in Central Texas to flourish.

Each year the Austin Technology Council will open up nominations to the community (neither nominators nor those nominated need to be part of ATC). Decisions are made by a committee of independent community members and some ATC board members.

This event was created to celebrate the past, be present in the NOW, and to look toward the future of the Austin tech ecosystem.

In 2024 and 2025 (the first two years) we sold the event our long before the day of the event, so get your tickets early.
